GRADUATION DAY – 25th JANUARY, 2014







The 51st Graduation Day of ANJAC was held on 25.1.2014. Around 1000 students received their degrees in person. And nearly 110 students received the degrees in absentia. Secretary A. Ramamurthy, declared open the Graduation Day. Principal, Dr. S. Baskaran, delivered the welcome address and presented the annual report of the college. Dr. M. Rajiakodi, Dean, College Development Council, Madurai Kamaraj University delivered the graduation day address. In his address the chief guest asked the students to follow four key points in their life to attain glory. He stressed the importance of developing communicative skill to achieve success. Besides he advised the students to shape their personality by involving themselves immensely in reading various books. He also emphasises the need of humanitarian concern among students to spread out hard core values to their fellow human beings. He quoted the words of Swami Vivekanandha, "An ideal student makes an ideal college" and made the students aware of their responsibility towards their family and society. 

PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES

            The Heads of Department shall read out the names of the graduates of their departments, one by one. The candidates shall proceed to the dais as their names are read out and receive their Degrees. The Candidates will come to the dais and receive the degrees by bowing down and proceed to resume their seats.

            Mr.Dean, I present unto you the candidates IN PERSON in the Post Graduate Department of Commerce with (Computer Applications) who have been certified by after examination to be duly qualified to receive the degrees of Madurai Kamaraj University.

The solemn ceremony was dissolved by the Principal Dr. S. Baskaran. The graduates were taken photos in groups. And at the end tea and snacks were served.
